  1. Is Eco mode on? You might need to toggle it off and on again to make sure, or refresh status in the portal.
  2. Can you see your house load and import/export in the app or portal? Are the meter and CT clamp working correctly.
  3. What is your battery discharge rate set to? Could this have been set to zero?
  4. Has your battery/have your batteries been paused?
  5. Are you on Intelligent Octopus Go or using automation like GivEnergy Smart Tariff, WonderWatt, GivTCP, or Predbat to control your system?
  6. Have you signed up to a Demand Flexibility Service (DFS) like GivBack/Axle VPP?

These questions broadly break down into possible configuration errors, or opting in to something else controlling your system in some way.

These questions will also help with any troubleshooting-
A) What system do you have?
B) Is any excess solar still going into the battery/batteries? Is the 46% State of Charge (SOC) stuck or increasing in sunny weather/when you charge?
C) Do you normally only charge from solar, or do you also charge off peak from the grid?

It looks like the Battery Cut Of % had been set to 43%. I changed it to 10% and it seems to be working fine.

thanks for your advise it was very helpful
