Beta Portal/Octopus Scheduler interaction

Wanted to ask the team how nicely does the new beta portal play with Octopus' scheduler.

The old portal used to be overridden by the scheduler and I'd like understand if the behaviour is the same here.

My use case is that Intelligent Octopus sometimes schedules cheap slots outside of the main 11:30-5:30 window. It's OK if say the extra slot is 5:30-6:00 - I can just extend the window.

Sometimes though, the slots are non-contiguous. I'd like to take advantage of these by scheduling a battery charge at the same times. The Octopus scheduler seems best suited for this, but I don't want the scheduler to screw up the defaults I have set in the Beta Portal.

Am I making sense?

browellm as far as I can tell the Octopus scheduler does not work with Intelligent.
I'm on same tariff currently so have a workaround setup as follows using the Battery API:

Is Charger 1 or 2 Charging > Yes > Set Battery Discharge to 0.
This stops unnecessary discharge of the battery at all times the car is charging (which is fine even if it's either inside or outside the normal 23:30 to 05:30 window the "charge" part is not affected - so the GE Battery charges as normal)

When both chargers drop to 0 (ie they are done) the script simply sets this back to normal and (depending on the time this happens) starts to discharge again (if it's beyond the normal charge window.)

None of this involves messing with GE charge timers so they stay the same, however adding an extra line in to do so would be somewhat trivial.

Note: Gone are the days of being able to fudge Intelligent to force 5p windows on a whim using the ready by trick.
I've not had a charge outside the normal times for a few weeks now.

It will if I put the slots in manually when the schedule is created 😀

That's a shame, I've had several recently, including up to 8am in the morning this weekend.
