My baatery stopped charging on the 28th December 2025 and have tried everything from reboot to upgrade the firmware from 3017 to 3020 without success. Been emailing and calling Tech support without any getting any call back.
I note on LinkedIn comments about the same issue and dissatisfaction with lack of support.
Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Alex

Try the fee Android Inverter App ,It might give you some insight. I believe for a one off £10 you can actually control things.
NB no connection to seller

Selor Have you tried powering everything off, battery, inverter, panels, then powering back on again.

When you turn the battery on, do you get a red light immediately or do you get a green light initially? Do you hear any clicking inside the battery when you first turn it on?

Is your battery inside or outside? Outside or in a loft could have been affected by the cold and needs charging.

Have you tried your installer, you may get a quicker response. Givenergy support is overloaded and long delays as you have found.

geoffreycoan Hi Thanks for your reply. Yes I have tried all the power down and back again in the correct order. I also manually uploaded the software on to the dongle in the battery but no change.
When i reboot the battery it initially goes green and then red. No clicking sound from the battery.
The battery is in the garage and i have but some insullation around it.
I have been in touch with the installer but not much help either!!
Thanks for you advice. Much appreciated.

Selor Post your issue in the GivEnergy Customers Group on Facebook, there are a few (very helpful and appreciated) members of staff in there who may be able to dial in remotely and get your battery going again. Pretty sure that they are doing it outside of their official duties, so do not tag them.

It is a ridiculous situation btw.

Have you tried using the free version of the 'Inverter Monitor App'.

It shows you the status of your batteries cell by cell and after a while gives a performance report on the state of your batteries.

The GivEnergy support team respond eventually, after a few weeks, but once in contact the support is usually good.

(Had a red battery light on one of my batteries and they ended up replacing the whole battery).
