Using the portal, I have updated my GIV-HY3.6 inverter to D0.318-A0318 without problems, however the portal did not show any option to update my GIV 5.12-G3 battery currently firmware 4009. I have seen updates 4010 & 4011 but these seem to be for a 5.2 battery, what version should my 5.12-3 battery be using?
4011 is the pre-release and 4010 the stable as I understand it. I wasn't offered an upgrade via the portal until I toggled on the pre-release switch. I was also on 4009. Same battery, swapped in by a GivEnergy engineer after our Gen 1 batteries failed.

Thanks 'pwdst'. I have now toggled the pre-release switch in the portal but still no option to update option the 5.12-G3 battery. I can live with 4009 firmware as it seems ok, but would have been nice to update it..
Is it definetly a Gen 3 battery (curved front, orange plugs and with an MCB on the side?)
There was a fudge firmware for i think E.on installations a few years back that started with 400X I think if I'm remembering it right?)
It wasn't instant for us, it appeared an hour or two later.

Update to the battery update: Just open the portal again after toggling the pre-release button, option to update to 4011,as surgested. pre-release has now appeared.

Yes it is definetly a Gen 3 5.12 battery, I have checked its label.
