Strange readings

For the past few days, usually around 8pm, I have been getting strange readings telling me that the battery is being charged when it isn't.
Anyone any idea what the issue is?

WelshGuy we'd need to know something about your setup before making any suggestions. Do you have home assistant running, or any other external agents acting? I assume you've checked that you've not just left a timed charge active by mistake.

Thanks for your reply. I don't have Home Assistant, the only timed charge is 02:00-05:00. The main electricity usage in the house is an ashp. I've attached the battery reading for the 27th which is the top graph above which seems to be normal, it's just the chart that is showing strange data

WelshGuy I wouldn't rule out a bug in the app. I don't generally look at the energy chart, but do use the power chart. I know in the past the energy chart has lied - I recall a period of getting weird solar spikes at around 8am, long before sun should be illuminating my SW-facing panels.
Perhaps look for another data source that confirms it's happening, else might just be a glitch in the matrix.
