So my EV Charger has been outside in the elements for about a year and the QR Code on the side of the unit has faded and is now no longer usable to setup the unit.

So I thought lets make a new label as its easier than entering the 14 digit Serial number, SSID and WiFi Password. Below is and example of what the QR code passes to the App when the code is scanned.

However I am having trouble finding out the separator used by Givenergy when creating the QR Code. I have tried CR/LF as above, also tried using , and ; as separators but neither get recognised when scanning my newly created QR Code.

So can someone out there scan the QR code of a working EV charger with a phone camera and post below the formatting of the text please.

Afternoon. I wasn't sure what you were asking, but I've scanned my QR code into a clipboard and get the following format {"serial_number":"actual ser no","ssid":"EVSE-actual ssid","password":"actual password"}

So for anyone wanting to replace their EV Charger QR Code Insert your EV chargers details into the the following text string

{"serial_number":"actual ser no","ssid":"EVSE-actual ssid","password":"actual password"}

and then paste it into as Text input to any QR Code Generation program. Then print 3 stickers out and stick inside EV charger Cover, Outside the EV Charger and Stick the last sticker on the Installation Manual.
