As some has already asked - RubikCube - can you modify the AIM so it does allow for battery calibration?

AndyZ900rs Short answer - Yes.

Longer answer has a bit of history. Long ago the portal allowed users to run calibrations whenever they wanted. Then GE decided to remove the facility from users and make it an installer only thing. I guess the intention was that users would call their installer, but in practice users called the GE service desk. After needlessly clogging up the service desk for a year or two, GE put the ability to schedule a calibration back on the portal.

Not wanting to upset anyone, I left the facility to initiate a calibration out of my app.

Then there is the technical detail that calibration is not just a yes/no thing but a series of stages. A full calibration involves simply setting the stage to 1 and it works through the stages automatically, but there may be some usefulness in doing a partial calibration by starting it at a given stage.

Well, you mention doing a partial calibration...not sure what that would involve or how long it would take since everyone's set up varies so much. Why not start with those with G3 Hybrid converters? (like Me! :-)) or where you see fit. This aspect of calibration seems to be one that many of this forum find a challenge - or who do not know what it is and why it is necessary. Anyway do please give it some thought
