Been informed by Octopus that they are not offering IOF at the moment due to the Energy Situation!
What are people doing about exporting ? On Flux at the moment.
Can't switch to IOF
I am on Eco7 import and fixed export. Now the sun is out, I want to get back on to Flux for 6 or 7 months (i have done these tariffs for last 3 years)
I logged onto Octo yesterday to switch to Flux.

RobRoy594 Yeah they pulled IOF and IOG last week.
Octopus Outgoing is 12p/kWh regardless of time.
Octopus Agile Outgoing is variable but unlikely to exceed 12p/kWh apart from 1600-1900.
Fixed Export (12p) for me.
Battery not big enough to make it worth being on agile export.
I'd normally move to IOF early March but instead moved to IOG now I've got an electric vehicle.
TX200 Did they accept that move in the last few days?
Vestas I got onto IOG 2-3 days before they pulled the tariffs.
Very lucky to have a fix in this current period of uncertainty! 7.5p/kWh so not as good as the early adopters, but also better than the current off peak rate.
TX200 Apparently Octopus are charging customers 3.49p/unit off peak and 24.95p/unit peak for IOG, 45.42p standing charge from 1 April.

That's a slap in the face for everyone else....
Vestas I think mine might be 3.99p/kWh based on other people's emails. But lucky to get any price change on a fix.
I assume they offer these low prices for EVs for a particular reason. Maybe government reasons or something like that?
The rate you will get will depend when you joined iOG and when you fixed so there will be a variety floating around. These rates will not be offered to new customers joining the tariff and I believe are limited to six hours cheap rate per day.
Looks like they have cut all the rates by 3.5p across the board which is better than I thought it might be, I got my email about Cosy cuts today

This more than balances out the 3p export rate cut for me as I import about the same as I export
Also worth remembering that the standing charge varies considerably region to region.
I usually switch to IOF in late Feb, but doidn't this year as my inverter/battery went away so I delayed switching.... now I can't so I'll stay on Go for a bit longer.
im stuck on go might switch to flux, is there a minimum term as will wnt to go back to iof once its back available
I'm not sure flux is available either at the moment. They really dont want people switching by tje look of it
The tariffs appear to be available in some areas, so perhaps they're putting them back area by area. Keep your fingers crossed and check again today or tomorrow?
yep neither are available for me in cambridge also my gas tarriff is just coming to an end
