Our battery and inverted were installed on (or around) 1st June 2023.

I have just noticed that the battery is stuck at 91% and that there has been no battery activity (charge or discharge) since 28 February 2026. Previous to this it appears to have been working as expected.

Please can you advise.

Dont forget this forum is only other owners and you are unlikely to get any response from GivEnergy on here

Any notifications on the portal?
Are all breakers turned on?
Is EM115 glowing green
Have you tried using the portal in hitting "restart inverter"

UPDATE - Further information.
I have checked with Octopus (Intellegent tarrif) and they confirm that their charts/records show that everything appears normal - that they are draining and charging my battery normally.
The problem seems to lay with the GiveEnergy app not reporting accurately. Also, when I look at the Inverter data, there is a red banner showing an error, but when I do the health check, all is good - no error found.
Is there a real person that I can talk this through with, as using the forum is rather slow and cumbersom.

Sorry, this is just a user forum - we can offer suggestions, but not without detailed descriptions of what you're seeing and what you've tried. You'll need to try to contact GE support (or your installer) if you want professional advice.

DD I have tried but cannot find a contact point for GE support other than this forum. Do you have contact details please?

There are no staff on these forums, that said there are very knowledgeable and helpful customers.
What is the error on the banner? Someone here might know how how to resolve it.
Have you made any changes to your home internet recently? Is your inverter definitely connected to your router?

Sounds like the app/portal is not connected to the inverter, have you changed wifi/broadband/IP?

wrighar but IOF would be controlled through the API, which would require that inverter is connected ok. So that's a bit odd...

DD Yes, unless they are on their phone and it's got the wrong IP.

But even then the away would work.

Thanks - although I have not changed anything, it is using wifi through a wifi extender which may have been affected by a powercut. The inverter is the only device connected to it, so I will go back and check that the connection has not been broken somewhere.

Compo That would be a prime candidate for the problem. If you are able to log on to your router control panel it would be helpful to see if the inverter shows as a connected device.

Thank you for all your collective advice.
I have reconfigured my home WiFi together with the extenders. I then reconnected and reconfigured the inverter.
All is now working fine.
An additional benefit is that my home WiFi network appears to be working better too.
