There was no notification this morning that the time change had gone through but I checked the inverter date and time and it was correct.
Looked in remote control log and the GE server had a few goes at setting the time!

Same here. This is what I was told by someone on Facebook GiveEnergy chat group: Notifications weren't sent. As time sync is now done more regular to keep inverters that drift in check.
So the BST update would be the same logic. When inverter reports its time is not same as that of server. It would have auto set.
Before it was a 2x a year activity.

Mine only had 1 attempt, which was successful, but that only happened at 02:52.

In the meantime my car had been charging from 02:15, so spent 37 minutes drawing the maximum 3.6 kW out of my GE battery (as it was still in Eco mode).

Presumably the inverter had continued incrementing it's internal time from 01:00 to 01:52, then changed in an instant to 02:52. My Eco7 cheap rate period changed from 0030-0730 GMT to 0130-0830 BST, so I thought to set the GE charge period to start at 02:01 with this being a time that actually exists on 29/3/2026 rather than 01:31 that does not exist.

Doh. Live and learn. Next year I will either set the car to charge after 03:00, or not charge at all until I know all the systems have correctly dealt with the clock change.

Or could advance the clock yourself the night before, so you know it has happened. Then set charge times appropriately. If/when GE do it, it should be a no-op.
