Timed Charge not charging to 100%

Apologies if this has been asked before.
I've set up a timed charge for the battery overnight (when the rate is cheap). However, the battery is only reaching 1300W maximum and then doesn't go any higher (the charging is still active because the battery only starts discharging when the period is over). There is a Max Power setting that goes up to 1300W only, but I thought that was the max power charging the battery (i.e. Charge Power) rather than a limit?
Is there a way I can get the battery to charge up more than 1300W (about 30%)?

Battery Firmware: 3022

What equipment do you have? If you have multiple Gen 1 batteries have you checked that they are all online and reporting in?

I have only one battery. It appears to be reporting as I get the battery data.
Inverter Model: GIV-HY3.6
Battery Capacity: 51 Ah | 2.61 kWh | (1 Pack)

W (watts) is the rate of charge. Power. (speed if you like)
In settings, battery options, make sure you set and save charge and discharge power (speed) and your battery storage %.
I dont know the max AC to DC to battery charge power for your inverter, but my Gen1 Hy 5.0 is 2500W

When one of our previous 2.6kWh batteries was faulty the remaining battery would only charge at 1300W. Are you sure it has previously charged at a faster power?

I dont know what the 1300w your refer to is? Battery capacity is WHrs (Watt hours) or more normally kWh.
Your battery at 30% would be 0.3 (30%) x 2.61kWh = .783 kWh

Have you tried a calibration from the portal?

1300W is the speed of charging, not the capacity it is charged to. One 2.6kWh should be capable of being fully charged at that speed in two hours. 1300W for two hours = 2600Wh or 2.6kWh.

I haven't tried a calibration. I can try that if you think that might help?

The 1300W setting and charge may just be coincidental.

Pack charge rates are limited to their size in kwh x 0.5

until the inverter is maxed out (whichever is lower.

the 2.6kWh packs would therefore be limited to 1.3kW charge rate (2.6kW x 0.5)

a 5.2kWh pack would be limited to 2.6kW (5.2 x 0.5...)

If the app is only reporting 30% State of Charge despite charging from the grid for more than two hours from the grid then a calibration would be a very good start. I think something else is going on though.
If you tap on the blue battery icon on the app home screen is it showing anything against "Charge from Grid"? Likewise is it showing something for discharge on the other tab? It's possible the battery has been paused or tripped.

Charge from Grid currently 800 Wh in red - from Generation 200 Wh in yellow
Discharge to Home currently 800 Wh - from Grid currently 0 Wh
When charging from Generation today, it reached 40%.

When looking for the Battery Calibration, in Remote Control, I happened to notice that the AC Charge Upper % Limit was set to 30%! Enable AC Charge Upper % Limit was enabled too.
I think that will be the reason?

N.B. I've never gone onto the Remote Control page before so I've no idea what set that. Any ideas?

If you look through remote control history there may be a clue in there. Have you ever used an automation like Smart Tariff, GivBack, Predbat or WonderWatt?

It says it was set in the Portal Inverter Settings tab - however there is no option for it there.
Unless there was some link between setting the Upper Limit for a Slot and overall, and now there isn't (Firmware was updated a while ago)?
Anyway, I'll check tomorrow and update you.

Setting the AC Charge Upper % Limit to 100% worked.
It seems there was a software change at some point from having a single AC Charge Upper % Limit for the Timed Charge to having one per slot. The slot had its new slot value set from the single value but the single/global value wasn't updated to 100% so acted as a global limit. Only by going into Remote Control was the global value settable.
I had a Timed Charge over the Summer set to 30% because that allowed the battery to discharge to 5% before the solar started charging it. When I set it back to 100% in the winter, the above change had been made so setting the slot value didn't update the global value and it wasn't obvious that there was now a global limit. Hence the charging continuing at 30% even though the slot indicated 100%.
This has cost me money as I've not been using so much cheaper electricity over the Winter as I expected to.
