My ev charger connects to my guest network on subnet 192.168.10.0/24, but doesn't on main network with subnet 192.168.4.0/24 as I believe evcharger is hardcoded to use 192.168.4.1 for its AP. I tried everything to contact givenergy, but it has been a month and there is no response. If your network runs on subnet 192.168.4.0/24, it just won't work.
tarslan I tried getting it to play ball as well, and had to resort to creating its own dedicated network on 192.168.x.x.
GE EV charger what a joke only one active schedule, starts when it feels like it., ditched mine for a Zappi which actually works as described, and supports Octopus IOG. Get rid is my Advice.
Have you tried connecting to it with a browser and configuring it to use the subnet you want?
Honestly, I cannot be bothered with the complete headache that is the charger. Currently, the system works as it is, and that's good enough. I tried for days and weeks with "support" to get it to function as I desired, and I've settled for the current state.
I'm not going to shell out the extra grand for another charger when this one functions as I need it just now, but yeah I'll check my IOG options if/when it breaks, or when GE goes belly up and I can't fix it anymore.
