Inverter has lost awareness of Grid.

Following a recent failure of a mains 60A cartridge fuse that was replaced by UK Power Networks, our GivEnergy inverter no longer allows the GivEnergy batteries to charge from the grid and no longer allows excess solar generation to be exported to the grid. In all aspects other than knowledge of the grid the inverter appears OK. It’s online, passed a GivEnergy online health check. I’ve successfully updated the firmware, completed a time sync event and several reset commands. Would welcome any insight into next steps I can take to ensure the inverter is working as designed.

It is also possible that the CT clamp was moved during the work and either left loose or put back in the wrong location.

DavidVale Does it cover home consumption? If not, perhaps also check the breaker connecting inverter to grid.

pwdst . Thanks, the EM115 is lit and displaying data. Appears to be OK.

DD it’s been a little confusing to understand all that is going on, as the App no longer appears to show home demand correctly …that said as far as I know the grid is correctly supporting demand from the home. The circuit breaker connecting the inverter to the grid also looks good.

Does the GivEnergy app/portal show the home load and import/export?

So it seems as of this morning the inverter has re-found the grid. I didn’t take any new actions. It’s as if the inverter just needed some time to re-establish its handshake with the gird.

Thanks to all who offered advice and help. Much appreciated.
