My EV charger has gone offline. have turned internet on and off, I have turned EV charger on and off. The rest of my give energy system is online.
I am trying to reconnet to by re intsallig the network to my eV charger, I hope this is correct?
I get to a queston asking select configurations , I think am cloud control as I have grid/solar and hybrid - I use the app, ad have an inverter so I guess I am not "CT meter".
Next question is:
"set DNO fuse value" how do I know? where do I look.
The phone gets cut off when I phone Give energy

Thanks Sarah

Our EV charger lost WI FI yesterday morning but I just left it and it came back on late afternoon. Withall the goings on with GIVENERGY anything is possible.

It's possible that both were affected by the server downtime between roughly 1000-1700hrs yesterday.
In light of the current administration some have advocated for switching the charger to always charge mode and using the car to schedule charging in case the cloud infrastructure disappears permanently.

pwdst Thank You for your reply. You are probably right re the down time.
A few years ago I used to do as you remarked about using the car schedule ,but found that after having solar etc installed when charging the EV the battery and the grid shared the load. The EV charger company could not rectify. I had a GE charger fitted as there is an ability to stop the battery being used when charging the EV.
Should/when GE go to the wall I will be back with my initial problem.
Anyone suggest a charger that will let me charge the EV without using the battery as well?

arthurma Get the sparky to move the CT clamp so the inverter can't see the EV load. He should know what you mean. Then any charger will work the way you want.

sarah_jane The main fuse will be in your consumer cabinet and should be labelled with the fuse size.

Vestas Thanks for that Vestas. It appears to be an easier fix than I thought. This technology is way above my pay grade. Thanks again.
