Seen a lot of chatter about blocking GivEnergy access to our inverters. If we do this I am aware it could invalidate the warranty (!!), stop Octopus/Agile access for services and would need local control (I use HA/Predbat). If we were going to block their (could be his/her now) access which domains do we need to block?
The safest option would just be to block the inverter from communicating with the internet at all.

SteveCook Depends on your router. But generally there will be a setting like firewall rules. In there you would create a rule that blocks your inverter’s ip from sending data to the internet (also may be called wan ) and another rule that would stop internet (or wan traffic) from talking to your inverter. But you will need to ensure your inverter has a static ip address.
How depends on your internet router. I have an ASUs zenwifi and I can do this in the app by clicking the “No” icon next to the device. You can also do it in the web portal.
Google your router make and model and ask how to block. Plenty of docs for every router out there
You could also use the parental controls to block them.
