The moment GE went into administration my batteries have stopped charging and discharging. I have rebooted everything but no charge or discharge. Any suggestions welcome
Batteries stopped charging/discharging
We need a lot more detail on your system.
What system do you have and what size/capacity?
What batteries do you have? How many and what size?
Will the system charge from solar or not at all?
Is the system reporting/seeing your batteries? Can you see cell voltages and temperatures for example.
Can you see your solar generation? Is this as expected?
Can you see your household usage along with import/export?
Is Eco mode on?
Are the batteries paused?
What are the battery charge and discharge rates set to?
Are there any lights on the batteries?
What is the position of the battery isolation handles?
KenMay,I see pwdst has suggested some questions to narrow down on the issue .BUT I had issue where my batteries would not discharge after a firmware update.Unknown to me they firmware did not move over the original settings correctly such that the discharge rates were set to zero instead of " in my case 2600W".Might be worth a try go into my inverter then settings then into battery options and ensure the charge power and discharge power is set to max or whatever you need.. I also have a reserve of 4% .Failing that might be worth a reset to default BUT i would check note of the settings first just incase 🙂... good luck.Barry
That's why I explicitly asked the OP to check their charge and discharge rates.
Why do lots of OPs never report back after people on this forum take the time to try and help.
It would be useful to know if the support given fixed the issue
