GIV and their orphans just seem to washing their hands of everything. Where is the accountability after I spent thousands of pounds with them?

Strictly speaking you spent thousands of pounds with your installer who bought equipment from a company that has subsequently gone into administration. They may come out of administration in some form or another, we all hope so.

But your contract and money was spent with your installer not GivEnergy so they are your support route now.
Of course if they have failed then the options are limited.
