Bulk block sales, not for the likes of you and I.

It is the mention of software that is worrying me. The lack of any update, and for that matter, silence from the people who wish to set up a subscription is concerning.

When the Software Service was first announced I fired off a couple of emails for clarification on a few points. The first one was sent the day the detailed service and cost was announced 13/04/2026. I received a reply in a few hours. I then replied to them and it took 10 days for them to reply to that email.

5 days ago 06/05/2026 I had a question regarding the API, and whether or not they were intending to maintain it, and also fix the faults that it has, as part of the Premium Access package?

A day after that I experienced a Portal issue where my all my daily totals reset at 8pm in the evening and I fired yet off another email.

No response to either of my recent last two emails so far.

According to this document Givenergy Software LTD is not in administration and that is the part of the company who runs the portal and the App

We have just got to wait and see what happens

arthurma I heard on another forum that "the software" includes givenergy IP. Could be anything, testing tools, stuff to bundle up firmware versions, tools used by the helpdesk, etc.

The portal is owned by givenergy software that's not in administration, but equally not yet collecting £5 a month from the masses so is burning whatever bank balance they have on staff costs and cloud hosting

I still have some lingering questions around GDPR and the transfer of my personal and account information to another company without consent...

Given a lot of people have their data sent to the portal via a 4G dongle, I wonder who is paying for the ongoing SIM data?

I think they are prepaid SIMs as a couple of users have had to replace it or the dongle as the plan has run out.
