Hello,
I have givenergy hybrid v1 system with solar panels and 2 batteries, we had to have our roof repaired recently so the system was shut down while that happened. It is now back on but one l of the batteries is charging the other battery is seen but not doing anything. I read i need to restart the system, but would like confirmation of the order of steps. I am also thinking i might just need to shutdown the mcb to the batteries restart the batteries (2nd first) then enable the MCB.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
restart system due to 1 battery not charging
What are the voltages for each battery? Are there any lights on them?
5.2's, one battery has all the lights on and is working normally, the 2nd has the status light as green and the light next to it flashing green.
And what is the reported voltage of each battery? In particular the one with the flashing light.
each battery is now green in the app. reporting 53.2V and 53.3V respectively.
so it looks like its resolved itself as when i asked it to charge to 100% it only charged one battery.
is there anything else i can check.?
It sounds like the flashing one was very low charge and out of sync but possibly the Battery Management System (BMS) was able to trickle charge it to the point the inverter can bring them back into sync.
thanks for your responses pwdst 🙂
