How does this compare to PredBat, PredBatCloud and the new PredBat Hub?

Hi, I don't have data, or indeed an opinion on that. I haven't used PredBat or Home Assistant.
The use case was born out of living in a full smart home, run entirely on Apple HomeKit (now Apple Home) yet having a home energy system that lived outside of that.
The final catalyst for this product was GivEnergy's decision to charge a subscription to use their [poor] software. I decided to build a local first solution that runs in Apple Home (as opposed to Home Assistant or standalone).
As I am the Intelligent Octopus Go Tariff I built that in, but you can use GivHome without IOG.
