multiple charge slots?

I've just signed up to the new premium tier and trying to schedule multiple charging slots throughout the day, but it's only accepting slot 1 and not recognising the others. is this not supported by the new app?

i used to override the givenergy limitations by scheduling multiple slots through Octopus Labs, but that also now seems to have stopped working since the latest updates!

anyone else experiencing this or know how to go about this?

(also... is there a contact email for GE, or is the only way to discuss issues on this forum).

OK, but does anyone else know if the new app/update make it possible to set up multiple charging time slots using GE's own software, or is the only way through a workaround with Octopus Labs or similar?

Simeon_Rose The new app does (at least for my AIO it shows the 10 charge/discharge slots) - you need to go to Direct Control

Simeon_Rose If your inverter has multiple slots, the app should allow you to configure them. But if you have an older system with only one charging slot, the app may not be able to help.
Mine does have a 'smart scheduler' slider under the dashboard, but I have no intention of turning that on to see what it does.
if you don't have premium access, you won't be able to use an API-based agent to emulate multiple charging slots, so you'll have to find some local control (such as the Android Inverter app)

Simeon_Rose like yourself I used Octopus R&D apps to charge my battery over a number of cheapest slots per day and it has stopped working. I have forwarded an email to Octopus for help. Their system displays my battery details a d usage so I have my fingers crossed it may be something they can fix.

Could it be something simple like API key expiring ? Axle users had to re-authenticate to get premium access. I wonder if GE just expired all keys for users when they switch to premium.

(Just noticed that my own api key seems to have stopped working, but probably a coincidence - I had just got a reminder on my calendar that it was time to renew the key. But I've already switched everything to local access anyway, so may not bother.)

DD givenergy software said that they were giving people 1 week’s grace on API access to subscribe to premium

but if Octopus R&D is no longer working then I would try creating a new API key (will need premium subscription)

The ‘Axle re-authenticate’ is unconnected. Axle used to use an API key and as part of the commercial agreement between Axle and Givenergy software they have moved over to Open Auth for connectivity, same as Octopus Intelligent Flux
