Smart plug no more supported by the app?

Hi, with the new app I'm no more able to control the givenergy smart plugs. How it will work?

No longer supported

You can still see your Plug with Premium and have cloud services ON

Or use the tuya app to control your plugs if you don’t have givenergy premium

New app is rubbish

I added the plug i have to the "Smart Life" app, worked first time without any issues, can see and track power history through it nicely. Shame they don't support it anymore, but i never felt it worked completely in the app anyway.

I have two of these socket/plugs and neither would stay connected when installed through the Tuya app, however both are so far behaving when installed through the Smartlife app. Odd, in that both those apps look and work in almost exactly the way same ways.
Now being controlled through Google Home.
