My battery stopped charging at the weekend and has been at 0% since. I checked fuses and fine, so it’s the inverter that has stopped powering my battery, which indicates a software issue. I am getting no response from the ‘premium’ email address. It’s a disaster to not have battery! I need help
DowsettCT12 you posted about this on 14th April, but didn't respond to the reply you received. Were you able to resolve that case and this is something different?
Chrisfoxi I'm not sure that from the information given you can conclude it's a software issue. Could it be a cable issue?
Can you tell us what sort of system you have - hybrid, ac-coupled, AIO, ...?
Chrisfoxi Check the lights on the battery, they should indicate its state. Have you checked the battery settings in the app or the GivEnergy cloud portal? If 'Enable DC Discharge' is on turn it off and try to charge the battery by turning on 'AC Charge Enable' and setting a time slot. Check the battery voltage in the cloud portal. If the charge does not work as it may have fallen below the threshold for the BMS to see. This will need to be charged with a DC charger which is something your installer should be able to do. Are there any notifications? You can check by selecting My Inverter then the Notifications tab in the cloud portal.
