This morning I find battery almost flat 6%. I went into inverter settings and see enable charge slot is off. I change schedule time slot to current etc. and save changes. In home dashboard i see battery still not charging from either grid or solar. When I go back to inverter settings I see slot is again off. Can anyone help explain what is going on? Thanks
Battery not charging from grid or solar
Are you on a GivEnergy premium account
Are you in the portal and is your inverter online. Have you checked and reset any battery settings to what you want and are you seeing the confirmation popup.
Check in the inverter remote control section that things are how you want them
Any notifications in the portal?
Is your EM115 on and glowing?
On my dashboard it’s showing all solar is going to the grid or home. None going to battery.
Yes premium joined last week, does that give me support remotely as well?
Inverter is online and I can connect locally and cloud portal
I’ve changed enable timed charge slot when appears off, that’s happened a few times today

Em115 - don’t see this, I have a gem120ctm in the fuse box showing kWh
Tonyp
Is your battery on?
What battery is it? Has the breaker been turned "off"
On the portal, my inverter, is the inverter "seeing" the battery correctly.

Tonyp if you signed up to Axle it it them that are swithcing it off
when you manually reset your settings, there server will disable them again every 39mins this is refreshed.....

SteveCook I’ve had this solar/battery for three years so I know my way around. Problems only started when cloud was updated last week. yes my giv energy battery is on. Inverter is connection is on.
Just I’ve checked again and see battery is charging from solar again. I went into inverter settings and enable time slot was off again. I enabled and changed scheduled charging to 7pm and now I can see it’s charging from the grid as well.
Very strange, it’s like settings reset themselves in the cloud. I’m hoping this is a bug and cloud support techs are working on a fix.
Tabulous yeah I’m sure it is as problem only started when cloud was migrated last week to the “premium subscription”. Seems to charging ok again. Hopefully they have fix it
Tabulous no I didn’t not sign up with axle

This enable time slot is still being turned off. Any ond know why
Tonyp have a look at the activity log on the portal (bottom the remote control page). That should show the changes and may give a clue to who is doing it.

Thank you. Whereabouts are thd logs as I can’t find them. Thanks.
Mine shows an API change, but Axle say they only talk to the inverter just before and after a session. I think this is the GivEnergy bug affecting a lot of people.
danielrc15 I think when GE make changes they tend to show up as 'server' rather than API ?
Tonyp The logs are on the GivEnergy Portal not the app https://givenergy.cloud/dashboard
Select 'My Inverter' from the lefthand menu, then select the cogwheel on the right (Remote Control).
In the top left corner select the 'Jump to Logs' button.
Whilst you are there you can also check your settings. Use the circular refresh arrows to get the current inverter settings. Sometimes what is displayed and what the inverter has stored get out of sync.
