I understand that givenergy has introduced API access costs but I thought that EV charger stuff was going to remain free in terms of control?
If I can't access the API using my api key then I can't control via home assistant?
Wouldn't be so bad if they integrated with Octopus energy but they don't...
Am I missing anything here?

My understanding was that if you had an EV charger, you'd get premium (inc. API) access for free, since they don't (yet) have a solution for local control of the EV charger.
DD Yeah, similar understanding, tried phoning their support line on 01377 252874 but pressing 2 (customer support) just ends the call 🙄
