iPhone App can't "see" inverter

I have had my system (GIV-AC3.0 inverter + 8kWh battery) for ca 2 years. In that time I have changed my router but app continued working "as normal" whether I was at home or away. However, I suspect it may have been treating this as remote working ? I did not do anything to the dongle at the time of the change. Then a couple of months ago I noted the app had stopped working, but I was in no need of making changes, and busy until now.
Having gone to my laptop to investigate, I have encountered and completed the SSO requirement. I have also deleted & reloaded the iPhone app (more than once) and now have 2-factor authentication when I log in. However, it still scans for but does not detect my dongle/inverter. I have then found the GivInstaller app, re-set the (external) dongle, "seen" it then appear on my phone's list of WiFi networks, and gone through the remaining instructions without issue. I have done this more than once, rebooted by router, deleted and re-installed the GivEnergy phone app, but it still cannot "see" my system either on an automatic or manual scan of local network. Yet my laptop (on same WiFi network) CAN see my system in more-or-less real time, although it does not allow me to control it. (I am aware of the change away from free access to remote monitoring/control, but just looking for local control)
Any suggestions would be welcome !

NickT Suggest you check in your router and see if the inverter can be seen. It should say HFA21 and you will also see it's ip & mac address. Here mine is connected to port 5 on my router.
If you are using a mesh wifi network you could try moving closer to the node where your inverter connects to and then disable then re-enable your phone's wifi which should then re-connect to the same node as the inverter. Then try the scanning from the app again.
