How do I check the time my inverter thinks it is? Whenever I schedule a charge or export it never does it at the right time. I've signed up to axle for their export events and the 1st one didn't happen and I can't help but think the inverters internal clock has something to do with it.
Time
O11y Are you in the Northern Power Grid area? I had one scheduled for 08:00 - 09:00 10/06/2026 and it didn't work either, so I just did a quick schedule on Wonder Watt for 55 minutes. You still get paid as they read your Smart Meter.

If you are on Android the download this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.rubikcube.invertermonitor&hl=en_GB You can see your inverter time and set it. The other option without seeing what your current inverter time is. Is to use the Remote Control section of the Portal and scroll down to Inverter Date & Time.
O11y If you use Android, simplest way is to use the free third party inverter app

where the 'home' page will show inverter and local android time. I think you might need the premium version to set it, though.
On iOS, there's a BBC Basic app which might be able to do it - not sure off-hand.
Actually, we ought to write to GE to ask them to (at least) add the appropriate registers to the 'direct control' page of the app, so that time can be adjusted locally - historically, they've adjusted time for BST, but not sure if they'll still be doing that without a subscription. There used to be an option on the cloud portal to set the time, but not sure if that now needs a subscription ?

It was under the remote control panel on the portal so it'll certainly need a sub to access now.
The BBC Basic Inverter app does have the ability to sync the time.
I sync mine every few weeks. Always only a few seconds out.
