I have enabled premium and the smart scheduler. It has, after a few initial teething problems, been OK. But today, during my cheap rate, it has charged to 60%, then started to discharge for half an hour, then charged back up to 70% where it stabalised - it did not continue to charge to full as I required it to.
Is this a glitch? Anyone else having problems? I've disabled the smart scheduler for now and jset it to charge normally. Any tips?
Thank you!

Rainbow73 it did not continue to charge to full as I required it to.

I've not tried it, but I assumed the point was that it figured what was required. If it's a sunny day with you, perhaps it decided 70% was enough.

DD Nope! Cloudy. But even if it thought it was going to be sunny, it doesn't explain why it started discharging for an hour half way through my cheap rate! I do hope they can get it sorted out. I think I'm probably better offf just setting my own schedule for now and hoping they can iron our the glitches.

If you're on a flat export rate, and that's higher than import rate, then you can make money be exporting overnight. I think predbat does that if it can.

What tariff are you on? What were you hoping the scheduler can do over and above a fixed schedule?

I'm on octopus cosy. I had hoped the smart scheduler would work out when my battery didn't need charging fully so it could top up with solar, but I think our useage is too high for it to work for us. I have the 4-7am slot set to only charge to 60% so that takes us through (even on a cloudy day) till 1pm when it charges again. We need to battery charged up fully (pretty much) to get us through till the next charge at 10pm. .....thinking about it, its possible it thought 70% was enough - but it doesn't explain why it started discharging! Arg! It just feels glitchy!

Rainbow73 no on Cosy I don't expect there's any margin on re-exporting imported energy. Odd.
