Island Mode PV

I have the AIO, gateway and 4.6KW of solar panels. There was a grid outage earlier today for a few hours. Previously all outages have been at night. Today I noticed that the battery covered house load, but there was no solar generation when the grid was off, even when the battery dropped below 95%. A google suggests that island mode PV is toggled off, but with Givenergy gone and my installer also defunct who can toggle this on for me? as there's no user visible setting I can see in the portal

Mix In Island mode on the AIO with Gateway above 80% SOC solar generation is disabled, At night with no solar generation its not an issue.

Rukicibe's paid app (one-time fee) let's you add the gateway as a second inverter and Island mode shows up in the settings on both AIO and gateway, although on gateway it didn't let me change it. The Gateway and AIO documentation should give more info on the settings.

duplada I've mentioned before about the initial problems I had with my set-up (AIO/GW/Hybrid) which are now resolved. However I still get the system reset/restart when plenty of solar and full battery. I tried a test yesterday by running the tumble and kettle on (more load than solar generating) to see if that would stop the reset/restart but it didn't - the same behaviour as before. I thought I would post here just for info. I will have to try an outage with the battery at 75% and see.

IIRC above 80% SoC the AIO runs the generated island power frequency at 60Hz so your solar inverter prohibits generation as it essentially sees this as a fault (makes the function manufacturer agnostic too so the AIO can easily work with other solar inverters). If you can look using any device that can show you frequency measurements, or with GivTCP you can probably confirm this behaviour. Once below that SoC the frequency should change to 50Hz, the solar inverter will no longer see an out of spec frequency and start to produce output again.

I can't remember there being any more settings than backup / island mode being on or off.
