System has been working fine for weeks - now all of a sudden I've experienced the sudden drop to 0% issue. Drops from 50% to nothing - batteries both flashing one green light. Clearly can't suddenly lose that amount of energy.

Really annoying because now we're drawing form the grid, when there's no need to be. As more of us move on to very expensive day rate electricity this becomes more of an issue tbh

You might want to add your inverter model, battery model(s) and firmware version.
There is a separate thread that so far is specific to newer 8.2 kWh batteries with 3007 firmware in them.

GrahamRead 2x5.2 batteries, AC coupled (D533-A534). Batteries 3005 (I think - can't tell what's on both, as portal reports just the one version figure)

I'll try the update - hadn't up till now as it's been very stable

The inverter upgrade worked, but the battery didn't - I'll probably have to ask givenergy to send me the 3007 version for install manually I suspect.

Restarted the inverter and forced a charge to start just to confirm it was all working OK (the calibration run never started, I suspect as the battery upgrade failed)
