I run this excellent app on a stand alone Android tablet running Android 8
The Inverter App exports csv data to Android/data/uk.rubikcube.invertermonitor/files
I can't seem to be able to copy this data out of that folder... maybe protected by Android?
Any tips on how I can transfer that data somewhere usable, or even better, automate that so it ends up somewhere like Google Docs?
Many thanks.

I use the ftp-server app by the olive tree which runs an FTP server on the Android device.
I can then FTP remotely from the PC (or whatever) to pick the file up.
As long as you know how to use FTP it works perfectly.
Since you are here! And thanks by the way
On the Android tablet, when I choose a month, it displays it nicely on screen.
When I chose export csv, whatever month I have on screen, the saved file stops on May 26th???

GribinIsaf That's odd. There may be a bug in the app.
Export just outputs all the data to a csv file, there is no selection. On mine, I have just passed 1000 records.
There are a number of possibilities. Maybe the app isn't outputting all the data, maybe the file is getting cut short when you transfer it, or maybe whatever you use to look at it cannot see past May 26. If you are using a spreadsheet, try opening in a text viewer (notepad in windows?) and see if the data is in the file. Maybe there is some corruption on May 26?

Somewhere on the to-do list, is to add a share button to the export screen, so that you can share the output to another app, so you could for example email it (to yourself).
As a matter of interest, if you take two overlapping screen shots of a given month from the Inverter app screen (one month won't all fit on my screen at once) and give them to Claude (free) if quite happily turns them into one spreadsheet ready for Excel or Google sheets.

I have been running it since Android 4. Currently up to Android 8 and it works there too.
Nice you have found an alternative. It will be handy if the one I use stops working.
