I have been having problems off and on for last year+ since system was installed
some sort of mismatch between giv and octopus
GIV blamed octopus and they blamed GIV
to start with it took 2months to get it working at all and I lost to the grid at least 1600kw
battery does not start discharging at correct time and then proceeds to empty it --not to the 20% they say it should
results in not all my 16.5kw being credited at the high price and although they tell me it can only discharge at 8.5kw --i regularly see on the GIV app that its 10.6kw
anybody else getting these sort of problems?

I am not that tecchie which is why i went for the intelligent flux option as they say they have complete control--of what i,m not sure
but not my battery for sure

scottish john Hi John, it would be useful if you could describe your system as the specs you quote are larger than the average bear?

scottish john On their faqs they do say that they can discharge to lower than 20%. Although not sure if they have updated things since they wrote this as circa 2023.

They say that the 16:00 - 19:00 windows is where they intend to discharge your batteries. Are you not seeing that happen ?
