I've a AC3 with two 9.5Kw GE batteries, also a 4kW solar system - it's not good enough to power my house in a power cut so I understand that there will be no power during this time. Is there anything I need to do to power this stuff down ahead of a planned power outage from 9am? I understand it's a good idea to power these down? If yes, what order do I turn stuff off in?

I've never heard of a planned power outage, did they say why they're going ahead with it?
Unless your system has been set up to run when the power is cut you have no chance of running when the grid is off.
Marren2016 We had a planned outage last year while they changed the oil in the substation transformer. We have been in the same house for 32 years so it must last a long time.
