New Inverter

My Hybrid inverter works but will not communicate with the app.
Faulty inverter re communication module.
Can a new inverter still be commisioned?
Thoughts welcomed!

Which inverter is it? One of the later devices that have an ethernet connection or a Generation 1 with a plug-in dongle?

Thanks for coming back to me.
The faulty inverter is a gen-3 hybrid 4kW. The old settings work but I am unable to communicate with it trough the app.
Two different vists from companies proved unsuccessful re the connection to the app.
One of the solar panel connectors is burned black - a fault.
Both suggested a new inverter but this was after GivEnergy went bust.
I notice they are still on sale but the key question is "Can it be commissioned and connected to the app?"
If not, I need to replace my system + 2 batteries.
I was hoping GivEnergy would be bought but no sign of this thus decision time etc.
Buy a Givenergy inverter (is it can be connected etc) or replace the system.
Thoughts?
