Battery not exporting

I'd appreciate advice from anyone who can help a non-teccie please. I have a GIV-HY3.6 battery using this software version: D0.318-A0.318. The battery capacity is 102 Ah | 5.22 kWh. Earlier this spring I started to set a battery 'export to grid' time of 16.01-17.45 and, for a week or so it did as I asked. Then, inexplicably, it stopped. I have tried stopping the timed export and then re-entering it; stopping the Eco mode and then putting it back on. But nothing seems to make a difference. This is losing me money because, for the last few weeks, my battery has been on 100% at the start of the timed export period, and I have been using very little electricity in the house. Help please, if you can put me on a better path.

Celia Does the battery cover house usage normally at other times of the day? I guess you probably still have solar at 4pm so you can't tell whether the battery would cover house load at this time if it had to.
At the bottom of the new app there's a battery schedule bar. Does it show 'sell' for the appropriate timeslots ? If not, there's something wrong with the export setting - perhaps the dc discharge flag is clear. If it is set, it might be something like the battery reserve level being set too high.

Thanks. I think, by looking at the 'home dashboard' I can tell if the solar at 4pm would cover all the house needs. The 'sell' slots at the bottom of the new app do show sell for the appropriate time slot. I wonder if what you have written suggests that if there isn't enough solar power for the house it will take it from battery and, once that happens, however minimally, the battery won't export the rest to the grid? Do you agree? And would that still be so if I stopped Eco mode for the export period? How does anyone export without there being loads of solar, other than when they are away for the afternoon/evening? Maybe that what I should limit my export to? Although I seem to recall that it didn't work when I was away over the weekend, when there was loads of sun and minimal house usage.

Thanks Maxwell - are you suggesting that in case there's a 'glitch' in my app that might disappear if I start from the defaults again? If so, I'll try it!

Celia someone else tried that recently for a similar problem, but it didn't work. Still had to track down the incorrect register to resolve the issue. I'm yet to be convinced that it fully resets all registers.

No, I was just trying to ascertain the behaviour under different circumstances. specifically if it was behaving as if it soc had reached a reserve level or similar.

A timed export should discharge battery at fixed rate. If there is also excess solar, that will also be exported, so that export will be larger than the battery discharge rate.

I see there is also a reset option in the beeb app on iOS. Not sure what success rate that reset capability has.

If you are on Android try the Inverter Monitor App https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.rubikcube.invertermonitor&hl=en_GB initially it is free to view, if you want to amend settings and create schedules it has a very reasonable one off charge of £10. It is written by @Rubikcube who frequents this forum, and you will be able to get people here as well as the author to answer questions about it. It's worth having as a backup even if you decide not to pay for the full version.
