Just thought I'd report having a problem following this event, and what then happened, in case this is any use to anyone else, and so that GE can pick up on this. Hopefully someone from GE will see this and respond.
I use My Energy Optimiser (via the GE API) to control the battery, which works really well with my set up (PV, battery, heat pump), and have the GE App Smart Scheduler turned OFF.
On 12Aug26 I had an Axle event which discharged 6kWh from my battery between 1800 and 2000 to coincide with the solar eclipse.
The problem was that the battery did not revert to normal use.
I followed all the available advice to address this, and I even initiated a GE firmware upgrade.
Axle just pointed me to the available advice, which did not fix the problem.
Then the following day I noticed that the battery was discharging again at 1800 - it seemed to be repeating the 12Aug26 Axle event. In the GE event log there were commands originating from the server, which shows that the GE App is responsible for the second unwanted discharge.
I contacted MyEO who asked me whether the Smart Controller had turned on.
It was OFF on the app, but I switched it ON and then back OFF again.
From that point the battery reverted to normal operation.
So I can only conclude that there is a problem with the GE App, which seems to go into Smart Controller mode even though on the App the toggle switch is OFF. I did also notice that there were SELL blocks showing under the toggle switch coinciding with the second unwanted discharge.
So over to you, GE, to investigate please.

pickle_x do you operate the app in local mode or cloud mode? It's not uncommon for the settings shown by the cloud to be out of sync with the inverter. I assumed it would be fine in local mode, if the app always reads from the inverter rather than using cached values, but that may not be the case.
The sell box on the battery bar is definitely an indication that the system was set up to export

which shows that the GE App is responsible for the second unwanted discharge.

Seems more likely that it wasn't cancelled, rather than being configured for a second time.

pickle_x If you want GE staff to investigate this you are going to have to send the details to their premium support email. This is only a user forum and GE staff do not routinely monitor or contribute to this. The joys of company administration…

Maxwell They never "routinely" monitored it before administration, in fact (with the exception of a couple of posts by Paul L) nobody in GE has checked this forum in over two years.
