The Ev charger automatically starts charging as soon as the car is connected.. even without clicking ok on the app.. how can i set it so that i can only authorose the use of the Charger

It would help if we knew which charger and which car you have. Most likely the car is set to charge as soon as it's plugged in.

cluelesscris Presumably the GE charger. And it sounds like car is irrelevant since the question is about any car charging without authorisation.

DD Presumably you don't have a car which has a setting to not demand charge immediately when plugged in but uses it's own scheduler and/or app. Mine does. The op talks about 'the' car and not 'a' car.

there was a communication before GE went paid-for about setting the EV charger to start charging when plugged in before that setting disappeared I believe. if you didn't do that then you'd need to swipe the RFID cards to start I guess
