The weekly Givenergy updates appear to be knocking my system offline requiring a hard reset (power off/on) to get the system back on line. Worst of all the system is drawing power from the grid during this time. The inverter should continue to work when it is offline, but it obviously isn't. Is this an issue with my Gen 2 inverter?
I had the same issue yesterday but I have a Gen1 inverter. Battery fully charged but refused to discharge when necessary. Had to switch off main isolators and restart to fix it.
This has happened to me twice now....PV goes offline making whole system dumb. There are no error logs recorded, but each time the system has gone offline at about 1.30am on the days when GE perform their updates. Have raised a ticket, but keep being told system will continue to function normally when offline when it obviously doesn't. Only a complete power on/off cycle of the inverter gets it back online and working normally again.
