AC Inverter or Just add to existing? I'm trying to figure out the best way forward and as usual welcome your collective, expert input. I have a 16 panel solar array and a 3.6Kw Hybrid inverter (Gen 1 I presume?) with an 8.2Kw battery.
I charge my car and fill the house battery every night at the cheap IOG rate and then export most solar during the day. I also export at peak times via Axle Energy. So I'm thinking add another battery to charge at night then export more at peak times via Axle and/or a schedule. Is it easiest/simplest to just add another GE battery to the inverter or install an AC inverter with an alternative supplier battery (Cheaper - warrant??). My installer not too helpful or responsive at the moment. Any thoughts appreciated
