I'm probably the 1,000th person to ask this. Overnight the battery will drain when using the GivEnergy AC inverter and battery with the Hypervolt EV charger. Can it be avoided?
I set the timed charge to be 55% between the overnight EV charging times, which kept up the battery charge. Is there another way?
Being able to lower/set the power discharge between set times could be useful for this.

You should be able to set your battery discharge power to whatever you want...for the same period.
Setting the timed charged is the only way.
Is the only way to set timed charge via the cloud/browser pages, as I can't find it in the app.
danielrc15 You can do it in the App if you first go into settings on the menu button top left Prefernces and Show System Modes button. That will give you a cog top right on the home screen and you can set it from there.
That said that has not always proved reliable historically. So I think that the considered recomendation is to do it via the portal. But you have options to play with

I set my battery to charge during my Octopus Go cheap tariff slot and maintain the battery at 40%. This way when I'm charging the car the battery will only drop to 40% and sit at this level until the end of the charge period. Immediately after installing the GE system my Podpoint kept dropping out, but this was resolved with a OTA update of the EV charger to take into account that solar/battery had been installed. I presume the Podpoint was continually trying to load balance with the GE system before the update. All working fine now.
