Hey all

I wonder if anyone can help.

I haven't upgrade to the premium pricing plan just using the standard plan.

The standard plan say you have local control over your inverter. I use an Octopus tariff, I import energy from 12-30 to 5.30 and all's been working fine.

'Somehow' that's recently changed on the inverter to 12-30 to 15.00. very strange. The standard plan says local control so i assumed i could just change this back to 5-30 am buts it saying I have to upgrade, is this correct?

Any advise appreciated. Trying to contact anyone at Givenergy is impossible.

thank you

Brad

Having local control over your inverter should allow you to make adjustments/corrections to import/export times?

Standard plan allows you to set the relevant registers yourself directly using remote control. In the App:

  • Open the menu
  • Select Direct Control
  • Select Charge & Discharge Schedules
  • Review the values in AC Charge 1 Start Time and AC Charge 1 End Time
  • Set as required
  • Review it all again to make sure the update went through

The GE app allows you local control even of standard tier and the BBC Inverter app on the IPhone App Store allows local control. Also the bbc inverter app can be run on Windows, Mac etc again allowing local control. Those are the free ones. If you are on Android you can buy @Rubikcube’s app which allows you to make changes locally.
