Hi all. I've had my GE battery for a couple of months now, and all was well until a couple of nights back, when the inverter started reporting a Grid Voltage Fault, and refused to supply power to the home. The battery charged fully from solar the next day, but the fault remains, and still no power from the battery. The solar inverter is happily supplying the grid and the home. The inverter data shows VAC of around 240, so that looks OK. Anyone have any suggestions? This is an AC-coupled system. Thanks.

Grid Volt fault means the grid has gone out of tolerance to high, too low, or frequency.
Once the condition clears, it should resume.
If not, restart the inverter using the remote control page, very top is restart.

Thanks for your quick reply TheDragon (GivEnergy). I've tried restarting the inverter, but it still has an uncleared notification. Mains voltage is currently showing as 246.2V and frequency as 50.13Hz.

Next would be shut the DC isolater off. Wait a few seconds. Shut AC off.
Wait a min.
Then turn back on

Thanks @"TheDragon". I was about to say that made no difference, but then in the next update, five minutes after the power cycle, the fault cleared. In the inverter data, the only difference between the fault line and the normal line is that the grid current is no longer zero. I don't know whether this is significant. I'll see how this goes. Thanks for your help!

I promised an update on this problem, so here it is.
After about ten days with no battery, the problem was fixed overnight by the developers accessing the inverter remotely. GivEnergy are tight-lipped about what the problem was, or how it was fixed. The inverter and battery firmware were already the latest, so they haven't obviously done a firmware fix.
The original grid voltage fault seemed to be caused by the AC voltage from the solar inverter (VPV1) being out of range. It was reported as 261V in the early hours of the morning. I'm not an electrical engineer, but I'm guessing this is impossible, given that the main voltage at the time was around 240V. Presumably, then, the voltage was being reported incorrectly. The inverter also reported a couple of GFCI faults. These have now gone away, too.
It's disappointing that GivEnergy can't be more transparent, and I just hope that the battery and inverter now continue to work for the next ten years!

The clue was GFCI faults. I wonder it the inverter was set for operation in Auz. They have different parameters set. Back in the day you could see the non applicable registers.

Good its now resolved.
