In these sunny days, I dont want to charge my battery up on cheap tariff at night, so moved my inverter settings to zero% charge (4% is the minimum allowed). But when I go back in it has reverted to 100%. I know its a cheap tariff but I would rather use my solar panels to charge it during the day. Any advice on what I am doing wrong?
Warren Leave the inverter in ECO mode with all the timed charge, discharge and exports set to disabled. Set your battery charge and discharge rates where you want them and sit back. Don't forget to click on save if using the web portal when making changes. I would always recommend the web portal over the app for making changes.
Come the time when you can't last overnight on battery, set a timed charge for the period you want and set the "charge to" value. This is the target % which the battery will either discharge down to or charge up to at the start of the timed charge period. Don't forget to click Save. The battery SoC will "hover" around the "Charge to" value to the end of the timed charge period and then start to discharge to the house until the sun comes up again.
Not sure if the OP is getting confused between 2 setup screens on the web portal.
On the 'Timed Charge' screen, there is Enabled/Disabled, Start Time, Stop Time, Charge to % slider, and the Submit button.
On the 'Battery Options' screen, there is the Operating Range Reserve % (Minimum4%), Charge Power, Discharge Power, and the Submit button.
As @Tim has said, disable the Timed Charge option to prevent charging from the grid. If you can still move the %age slider then you have not set the option to Disabled.

Yes, there is a calibration process that takes place after first commissioning.
The battery will be fully discharged, then fully charge from the grid before reverting to the required automatic operating mode.
Warren I had some issues like this recently. I think it was triggered by me tying to UPDATE firmware to 3007. The system never achieved that :-(. But caused my inverter to be restarted every 5 minutes until 0025. After that - battery charged overnight to 100, whatever I had set it to ( very annoying during the hot and sunny last week ).
Giv Support rang - eventually one of them spotted a legacy 'Smart Tariff' setting I once set, but subsequently cancelled. They said they'd email me when someone had corrected it, and I'm currently unsure if it was a fix.
Giv it would be nice if you acknowledged receipt of an emailed support request AND you actually email me back when you say you would after we spoke on the support line. Thanks
