Battery issue

Hi all,
I have recently had my solar system fitted. The hardware components are:

• 4 kW solar power in two strings
• Growatt MIN 4600 TL-XE Dual MPPT
• Giv.AC3.0 inverter
• GivEnergy 5.2kWh LiFePO4 Battery

Initially the battery functioned as it was set up. It was charging during the day with solar power and discharging when house demand exceeded solar power.
This has recently changed to the battery not discharging at all or very little (0.01 kW). So at night the house demand is now solely met by the grid.
I have adjusted the settings of the inverter with the giv energy cloud trying to fix the issue and noticed that if I reset the settings of the inverter the battery works for a short duration (10-30 min) as it should and then it goes back to not working.
Do you have an idea what might be the issue? I can add pictures if they would help to pin down the problem.

Any help appreciated. I am also in contact with my installer about this but I believe a second opinion would be useful.

If the inverter settings have been reset and eco mode is the only one enabled it should provide power to the house when there is not enough sun. It it is not working, it maybe the inverter is not getting the right monitoring data to determine when to draw from the battery. This can happen if CT clamps are the wrong way round. Suggest as its a new installation the first port of call is with the installer.

Just looked at the images which are all from the mobile app. There have been some glitches in the mobile app. Before contacting installer suggest logging into the web portal and resetting the inverter settings and then just enable Eco mode and see if this helps.

I have always reset the inverter settings with the Web portal and not the mobile app. The issues are still there.

I just noticed on the web portal that the battery is "idle". Is that something to be expected when not being charged or not discharging or could this be the issue?

LucasNeidhardt123 If the battery is fully charged and the household demand is being met by your solar array it will show as 'idle'

Have you tried switching everything off and on again? I know this ia a bit cliche but I had an issue a couple of weeks ago so I had to do a proper power down of everything (physically turning the big isolaters off) and turn back on, all been ok since.

Ra unfortunately it didn't work. I isolated the inverter from battery, grid and MPPT tracker for about 15 minutes. Then reconnected everything. The first 2-3 minutes the battery was discharging but then it stopped again.

The battery currently still shows as idle. Although there is no solar power and house consumption is solely met by grid.

I have called GE and they will now send someone to my house to have a look at it. Thanks for your help.

Sorry, have been offline for a bit. Hopefully the visit turns up something 'obvious' so it can get fixed!
