Hey Folks,

Hopefully some one can help me, I have a Gen 2 Hybrid Inverter that was connected through RJ45 Ethernet cable, I was testing the in built WiFi and while doing so I lost my active Ethernet connection to the Inverter, the inverter seems to be working/generating ok, its the APP and Portal are not populating with data, does anyone know how to re-activate the RJ45 wired internet connection again?

You might need to power down the inverter and restart it.

The RJ45 CAT5/6 connection from the inverter will be acting as a DHCP client to request an automatically allocated IP address from the home network/router, and may have lost the IP address, or the DHCP lease time may have expired.

Simon_C Thanks for the response Simon, I had tried that and have resat the RJ45 cable at Inverter and Router side but the Inverter stays offline.

Was wondering if there was a trick to it or an installer level privilege needed to get it connected, I might just have an issue so.

The only documentation I have found on configuration of the WiFi is for Gen1 inverters with the USB plug-in dongle.

Nothing for the Gen2 inverters with wired Ethernet and WiFi built-in.

I think GivEnergy need to publish a user guide for this.

Simon_C Thanks again, yes I also only found documents on Gen1 with the dongle, hopefully GE release the user manuals for Gen 2 Inverters soon enough.
