Could someone save me a lot time and advise which sensors they are putting in to the Energy setting tab in Home Assistant.

I am using GivTCP (1.1.6), With Gen1 invertor, PV solar & 1 battery.
Home assistant is running as VM on Proxmox.
In addition I have an IAM Meter clamp.

Currently I have select the follow but suspect I am wrong

Solar production
GivTCP SDxxxxxxxxx PV Energy Total kWh

Battery
GivTCP SD2144G024 Battery Charge Energy Total kWh
GivTCP SD2144G024 Battery Discharge Energy Total kWh

Grid consumption
IAM meter (Currently using this but not sure if I can drop it)
(Not sure if I can use the sensor from the invertor as seem to go in idle at night)

Please accept my apology if this is answered already. I did look for sometime but could not find a thread that answered all of this.

The totals are the correct ones. Not Today.

The Energy page, does its own sums to extract the todays from data. Day 1 will look wierd, day 2 onwards will be fine

Thanks for the help @TheDragon (GivEnergy) & Britkat.
I found part of my issue was that the installer had put the measuring clamp in the wrong place.....it was measure the output of the invertor and not the grid input.

With that sorted things look better.
The invertor is still going into an idle state once solar & battery are no supplying electricity.......but with the clamp in the correct place I get readings 24/7.

This home assistant graph is starting to look good.

This answers everything under this thread.
I am not sure if there is close thread / thread answered button.
