Energy graph and Power Graph units confusion

I'm struggling to understand the units. Last night my car charged for 2 hours. The power graph shows the battery discharge started at 1:30 with a power of 3.4kW and finished at 3:20, the power remained pretty much a flat line so thats 2 hours at 3.4kW and agrees with everything else. total 6.6kWh

The energy graph shows 4 30 minute levels of 1.65kWh which again is correct when taken as a whole but the figure 1.65 is kW per half hour surely, not per kWh.

Am I missing something here

geoffmurphy it depends how you view it. Yes you are correct that a continuous power draw of 3.4kW over a 1/2 hour period is 1.7kWh and if that stopped after the 1/2 hour would result in a total of 1.7kWh for the hour.
But if it continues for the whole hour it would be 3.4kWh

It’s like the battery capacity. You keep filling it at that rate it, after 2hours it’s at 6.8kWh

anglefire Thank you. The units are indeed incorrect on the graph. All the measurements report that they are kWh where in fact they are kW/half hour as presented on the graph as each measurement time period is half an hour.

geoffmurphy Don't worry - I install and maintain professional energy management software and that causes the same confusion!
Despite what you might think 3.4kWh over a 30 minute period is expressed as 1.7kWh - as its effectively that if it was to stop at that point.
