Does anyone do anything to extend battery life.
I am using Home Assistant with GiveTCP on a GivEnergy hybrid Invertor with one battery which is LiFePO?
Note sure if someone might have something that looks at battery cell temps or ambient temp to do something or maybe adjust operating charge range some how to 10% to 90%.
Also can anybody explain the difference between "battery reserve limit" and Battery cutoff limit?
I think the battery charge limits (min and max) are factory limited in order to extend battery life, so IMHO little for the user to do to extend their working lives.

Is this article suggesting not to charge to 100 to avoid overcharging. Does 'considered when calibrated' mean it counts 95% as 100% as displayed in in the portal/app? Spent a lot of money on this and on bright days my battery easily gets to 100% after lunch.
100% in the user portal, isnt true 100%. There are hard limits set and hidden to prevent damage. If you see BMS high voltage, or are doing a calibration, you are going right to 100%, otherwise, more like 95%, but the numbers are fudged to read 100.
5 to 100 is approx 15 to 95
EmmetBrown no, the 100% usable to you bit means that the battery is actually bigger than you need, but there are limits put in place to protect the battery
