Add more solar panels, what should I be aware of?

Hi all, looking at maybe adding some panels on our east facing side. Will this affect our G98? Technically speaking what is needed from the equipment front, another inverter? I have no idea hence asking here, ha!

A new application will need to be made unless you export has already been capped to 3.68kw. A new inverter might be needed depending on how many panels you are adding and how the current panels are configured. But your prefered installer will answer all this as part of the quote.

For me I have a 2.4kw East facing system, 8x 300w panels. I am replacing the 2.5kw inverter with a 6kw inverter and adding 6x 545w panels. The 8x 300w panels will be on 1 string and the new 6 panels on a second. Install listed for October unless something else happens. The orignal install was booked for March this year.......
