Hi all,
I went to look at the App this morning and it appears that my inverter went offline at 0156 last night. The system is only a month old so I'm not familiar yet if there is anything I should do to restart/reboot the inverter, or is this a case for a support call to my installer or Givenergy?
Thanks for any advice.
Rgds, Thomas
Inverter died last night
Any lights on it at all?
This can happen when your wifi connection drops. You’ll know that’s the case when the lights on the front of the inverter show that it’s on and working, but the dongle is flashing blue. It needs to be a solid blue on the dongle. That’s what it is on my generation 1 inverter/dongle anyway, not sure about the generation 2 kit.
Thanks for the tips. I'll jump up into the loft in a couple of hours and see what its doing.
I followed the inverter reset instructions from GV, and the system appears to be back online again and generating. Only curious thing is that both batteries have zero LEDs lite up, and I don't think the system is recognising them or charging them. It is reading the battery voltage as 5v and thinking they are lead acid batteries. I'm hoping my new battery packs aren't dead already!
